Well, at least the girls are hot...

Move over Elektra, here comes Rayne! Join the adventure on May 23, when Visual Entertainment presents Bloodrayne on a Special Edition Two-Disc DVD set that includes the complete Interactive Bloodrayne 2 PC game, in what is a DVD industry first.

Based on the popular comic book and available in unrated director's cut and original theatrical versions, the Bloodrayne DVD includes a treasure trove of action packed bonus features including a “Dinner With Uwe” interview feature, stunt outtakes, deleted scenes and a knockout alternative ending.

Bloodrayne is in a genre all to itself, full of romance, adventure, action, drama and a raging battle of good against evil. Directed by Uwe Boll, and starring Kristanna Loken (Terminator 2) in the title role of Rayne, the film boasts an all-star cast including Michael Madsen (Kill Bill), Michelle Rodriguez (Lost), Ben Kingsley (Species), Bill Zane (Titanic), Meat Loaf (Fight Club), Michael Paré (Streets of Fire) and Udo Kier (Andy Warhol's Dracula). Retail is $26.99.

Underworld: Evolution is also hitting the home theater market on 6 June in both the DVD and Blu-ray Disc formats. The film will be presented in 2.40:1 anamorphic video with a Dolby Digital 5.1 track. Extras will include a commentary, a half dozen featurettes, and a bonus music video.

The Blu-ray Disc version will offer the first lossless audio track for a bit-by-bit reproduction of the studio master. No supplements have been confirmed for the BD edition. The DVD will retail for $28.95 and the Blu-ray Disc will retail for $38.95.
