Coming Fatal Attactions

BIG BAD WOLF

The film follows a college freshman named Derek who's bullied by his classmates to take them to his stepfather’s cabin to party, which leads to tragedy when they are attacked by a werewolf.

Derek suspects his abusive alcoholic stepfather is the werewolf, and with help from his female friend, a brash motorcycle-riding tomboy, he begins to investigate. It's said that in this film the werewolf will actually speak and taunt his prey.

Directed by Lance W. Dreesen, starring David Naughton, Richard Tyson and Clint Howard.

30 DAYS OF NIGHT

Set in a small town in far-north Alaska, where the depths of winter is plunged into a night which lasts for 30 days, some unwelcomed guests with fangs have come to stay. It's up to the local Sheriff and Deputy and a husband and wife team to save the town from the horde of bloodsuckers.

Directed by David Slade, produced by Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert, and based on a graphic novel by Steve Niles. The film has an October '07 release.

ZOMBIES

Recently widowed Karen Tunny and her two daughters, Sarah and Emma, move to a remote mountain home which Karen has inherited from the family of her late husband. However, she is unaware that the home is situated near an old mine, the site of an early 20th century tragedy in which many children were buried alive.

Tobe Hooper is no longer attached to this project, which is probably a good thing considering his latest mess entitled Mortuary and his horrible addition to the Masters of Horror series. J.S. Cardone has replaced Tobe. Ben Cross is on the cast.

FRAGILE

Isle of Mann. After nearly a hundred years of service, the Mercy Falls Children’s Hospital is closing its doors for good. It seems that the local authorities have detected a strange deterioration of the building’s structure. During the next three weeks the remaining patients will be transferred to London hospitals. But the process is taking longer than expected. A series of rainstorms has grounded the helicopters in charge of transporting the patients. And then there is the problem of the strange incidents. A bizarre case of children's bones breaking for no apparent reason -- unexplainable fractures that have the medical personal dumbfounded.

Making matters worse, the children in the hospital are becoming nervous, even afraid. Afraid of something intangible, invisible. Something that shouldn’t exist. Something full of pain. And hate. Some of the children call it “the mechanical girl”, and claimed to have seen it with their very own eyes, moving through the hospital corridors, crouching in the shadows and weeping. Because in this hospital lies a secret. Something terrifying from the past that has come back to haunt. Something that shouldn’t be here... Something so fragile that at the wisp of a finger it will shatter it as if made of glass.

Directed by Jaume Balagueró and starring Calista Flockhart, the release has been changed to November '06.
