Leaked test footage from 'The Mutant Chronicles'?

Yesterday it was announced that Stephen Rea and Ron Perlman have joined Thomas Jane and John Malkovich in the sci-fi action thriller The Mutant Chronicles... and today a website by the name of 24framespersecond made a huge discovery!

Inside you'll find not only a teaser poster for Simon Hunter's film, but a small clip from a 7-minute teaser trailer, which I'm assuming was made to pitch the film. It shows 23rd century soldier Major Mitch Hunter (Jane) leading a fight against an army of underworld NecroMutants...

Here´s the plot: 300 years in the future, mankind has almost destroyed his world. Four giant corporations have defiled the land with decades of war and pollution. As they squeeze the final drops of wealth from the dying Earth, they trigger a massive outpouring of evil from the Underworld – a marauding, demonic army of NecroMutants intent on destroying all that remains of mankind. A crack squad of elite soldiers form an uneasy alliance in a last ditch effort to save the future.
