The New Blood of Yore

There are trailers for Bob Keen's Heartstopper, Warren Sonoda's 5ive Girls, Robert Wilson's Warriors of Terra, and Jonathan Dueck's The Last Sect on the website of Peace Arch Entertainment Group Inc. Distribution rights are available for purchase from the company's sales division, Peace Arch Films Ltd.. Genius Products Inc. owns the U.S. DVD distribution rights for the latter three, as well as David Mitchell's UKM: The Ultimate Killing Machine and John Stead's Troubled Waters.

Here are the synopses for the six movies:

Heartstopper (starring Robert Englund): "Injured and hospitalized, two young people discover how much worse things can get when the dilapidated facility in which they are stranded is hit by a severe storm and a maniac stalks the corridors butchering the patients and staff."

5ive Girls (starring Ron Perlman): "Five wayward teenage girls are sent to a reformatory and discover they possess unique powers to battle the ancient demon, Legion, which holds thrall over the sinister institution."

Warriors of Terra (starring Edward Furlong): "A team of young animal liberationists penetrate a secure biotech facility little expecting to be confronted by heavily armed guards. Soon the activists and the guards are falling prey to a horrifying entity within."

The Last Sect (starring David Carradine): "A modern group of seductive vampires are using the best source of fresh victims - the internet. While Van Helsing's descendent tracks them, a young journalist is getting more than she bargained for from her story."

UKM: The Ultimate Killing Machine (starring Michael Madsen): "Waylon and Buddy decide to join the army as it appears to be their best option. But when they realize that they are part of a group that have been thrown into a medical experiment facility with a doctor who plans on turning them into ultimate killing machines, they must fight to destroy his other creations and save themselves."

Troubled Waters (starring Jennifer Beals): "When multi-millionaire Mike and Julia Water's daughter is kidnapped, FBI Special Agent Jennifer Beckett and her partner Andy Hunt are called in to investigate. After uncovering a terrible plot by Julia's lover to kidnap the girl and kill Mike, it appears that they are too late to save her.
